I started this story in February 2005 after getting the idea from Kenny Chesney's song "There Goes My Life," but didn't pick it back up until April/May and finished it in June/July.
My original plan was to start writing the sequel Welcome To The City right away, but after putting it on the back burner for nearly a year, I decided in March 2006 to go back and edit Hannah's Song before writing the sequel.
So the version of Hannah's Song you now have access to is the new improved version with lots of added scenes, all edited by lovely Katrina.
